Role Summary: We are seeking a proactive and empathetic Resident Medical Officer (RMO) to provide on-site medical supervision, patient monitoring, clinical documentation, and team coordination. The RMO will support specialized therapies and ensure smooth daily operations across departments. Key Responsibilities: Perform preliminary assessment, history taking, and basic clinical evaluation of new and follow-up patients. Supervise and support the implementation of non-invasive therapy protocols (Spinal Decompression, CRRT, ESWT, ECP, HBOT, etc.). Monitor patients' response to treatment and escalate concerns to the PM&R or Consulting Physicians as needed. Maintain accurate clinical documentation, treatment records, and consent protocols. Handle medical emergencies promptly and follow clinic escalation protocols. Collaborate with physiotherapists, therapy assistants, nurses, and wellness professionals for seamless patient care. Educate patients and attenders regarding therapy plans, home-care instructions, and follow-up schedules. Ensure infection control, medico-legal documentation, and patient safety standards. Participate in team meetings, clinical audits, and training sessions. Adhere strictly to the clinics policy of recommending surgery only as a last resort , and avoid denial of or bias against our primary non-surgical therapies . Eligibility Criteria: MBBS from a recognized institution with valid Kerala Medical Council Registration . 13 years of clinical experience preferred (Fresh graduates may be considered with the right attitude). Basic knowledge of rehabilitation medicine and patient counselling skills. Preferred Attributes: Alignment with the center's non-conventional and technology-driven treatment philosophy . Ethical, empathetic, and patient-focused. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a protocol-driven environment. Willingness to learn new systems and medical devices. Key Responsibilities: Provide expert evaluation and diagnosis of patients with musculoskeletal, neurological, cardiopulmonary, and chronic pain conditions. Design individualized, goal-directed non-surgical rehabilitation plans using physiotherapy, electrotherapy, regenerative modalities, and advanced wellness technologies. Oversee and collaborate with interdisciplinary rehab teams including physiotherapists, chiropractors, exercise therapists, and wellness coaches. Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans, and ensure outcome-based interventions. Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions and support the team in optimizing patient outcomes. Guide post-surgical rehab patients and chronically ill patients on function recovery, mobility training, and quality-of-life improvements. Ensure medico-legal compliance in documentation and case handling. Educate patients and families about prognosis, preventive care, and long-term management. Maintain ethical standards and uphold our non-surgical treatment-first policy without bias toward invasive interventions unless medically warranted. Participate in awareness programs, community outreach, and clinical audits. Eligibility Criteria: MBBS + MD or DNB in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R) Kerala Medical Council Registration (or eligibility to obtain one) 0-5 years of experience (Freshers with the right attitude are welcome) Experience in spine, joint, neuro, cardiac rehab, or sports medicine is desirable. Preferred Candidate Profile: Believes in modern, technology-integrated, evidence-based, and non-conventional approaches. Comfortable working in a multi-disciplinary, protocol-driven, patient-centric environment. Willing to continuously learn and adapt to new odalities such as spinal decompression therapy, ESWT, CRRT, HBOT, ECP/EECP, etc. Good communication skills and a compassionate bedside manner. Ethical, responsible, and committed to long-term patient wellness.
