You will be responsible for educating students on fundamental concepts of music theory including rhythm, melody, pitch, and tempo. This will involve conducting exercises in vocalization, harmonizing, singing, and playing musical instruments. Additionally, you may lead rehearsals in preparation for the school's musical performances. To be considered for this role, you should be a graduate in any stream with a maximum age of 45 years. For Indian music, a Certificate/Diploma (5 years) from reputable organizations such as Bhatkhande University, Gandharva Mahavidyalaya, Sangeet Mahabharati is required. For Western Music, a Grade/Diploma/Certificate from Trinity College of London or ABRSM is necessary. A BA in Music is preferred. Immediate joiners and female candidates are specifically sought after. Your responsibilities will include teaching general styles of music, classical piano (both practical and theory), and singing to students ranging from beginner to advanced levels. You will also incorporate musical instruments and movement in lessons, plan and implement instruction programs and lesson plans, prepare students for school concerts and exams, and inspire them to participate in after-school music clubs.
