As a Staff Digital Architect at Silicon Labs in Hyderabad, you will play a key role in designing and implementing robust digital architectures to support our business objectives of providing power-efficient, computation-intensive solutions for low-power embedded wireless devices. Your responsibilities include designing scalable and innovative digital architectures, evaluating and selecting digital technologies, collaborating with stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions, ensuring the security and reliability of digital systems, and providing technical leadership and mentorship to team members. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including IC and IP design, modeling, software, application, and marketing teams. Your expertise in defining and designing high-complexity designs such as accelerators, processors, bus-fabric, DMA, and complex I/O peripherals will be crucial. Additionally, you should have excellent understanding of embedded systems, low power design strategies, RTL logic design, front-end design tools and methodologies, debugging in simulation and silicon environments, and design for test and manufacturing. Preferred experience includes design of microprocessors, math-centric designs (security primitives, DSP units, AI/ML), experience with high-level software languages for modeling, and scripting skills. You are expected to stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation, as well as document and communicate architectural solutions effectively.
