Job Title: Corporate Pastry Chef Department: F&B Production —Bakery & Pastry Location: Noida, Pan India Travel Reporting To: Director Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic corporate pastry chef to lead and oversee all bakery & pastry operations across our central kitchen, restaurants, and new unit openings pan-India. The ideal candidate will be a strategic leader with strong operational expertise, financial acumen, and a passion for innovation in pastry arts. This role involves setting up new bakery departments, ensuring quality control, managing P&L, optimizing manpower, and driving excellence in pastry production and presentation. Key Responsibilities: 1. Operational Leadership: Oversee bakery & pastry operations across central kitchens, restaurants, and new outlets. Standardize recipes, processes, and quality benchmarks for consistency. Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards (FSSAI, HACCP). Implement cost-effective production techniques without compromising quality. 2. New Restaurant Openings & Pre-Opening Expertise: Lead the setup of bakery & pastry departments for new restaurant openings across India. Design kitchen layouts, equipment planning, and workflow optimization. Train and onboard new teams for smooth pre-opening transitions. 3. Financial & Business Analytics: Manage P&L for the bakery & pastry division, including cost control, budgeting, and waste reduction. Prepare MIS reports, analyze sales trends, and recommend menu engineering strategies. Optimize procurement, inventory, and vendor negotiations for cost efficiency. 4. Team Management & Training: Recruit, train, and mentor bakery & pastry teams across locations. Conduct skill assessments, manpower planning, and performance reviews. Foster a culture of creativity, discipline, and continuous improvement. 5. Innovation & Menu Development: Drive R&D to introduce new desserts, baked goods, and seasonal offerings. Qualifications & Experience: Education: Degree/Diploma in Culinary Arts, Bakery & Patisserie Experience: 15+ years in bakery & pastry operations, with at least 5 years in a leadership role (Corporate Chef, Executive Pastry Chef, or similar). Proven experience in central kitchen operations, multi-unit bakery management, and pre-opening setups. Strong background in P&L management, cost control, and food production analytics. Skills: Expertise in artisanal & commercial baking techniques. Proficiency in MIS reporting, inventory software, and kitchen management systems.
