Inventory Management: Maintain optimal stock levels of critical and fast-moving parts. Monitor reorder levels and manage procurement planning. Conduct regular stock audits and cycle counts. Procurement & Vendor Management: Source genuine parts from approved suppliers and OEMs. Negotiate terms, pricing, and lead times. Evaluate supplier performance. Team & Operations Management: Supervise storekeepers, parts executives, and warehouse staff. Ensure proper storage, labeling, and handling of parts. Maintain documentation and ERP entries accurately. Customer Service & Coordination: Liaise with service teams to understand parts requirements. Fulfill internal and external orders in a timely manner. Handle customer inquiries and complaints regarding parts. Reporting & Analysis: Generate reports on stock movement, consumption, and dead stock. Monitor and control costs, wastage, and losses. Recommend slow-moving and obsolete stock liquidation strategies. Qualifications & Skills : Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering / Supply Chain / Business Administration (preferred). 3–7 years of experience in spare parts management, preferably in construction equipment or heavy machinery sector. Good understanding of inventory control systems and ERP software (like Tally, SAP, or Dealer Management Systems). Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills. Job Summary We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Sales Manager to lead and expand our sales operations. The candidate will be responsible for developing sales strategies, building strong client relationships, meeting sales targets, and leading the sales team to success in the construction equipment industry. Key Responsibilities Sales & Business Development Drive sales of XCMG construction equipment across the assigned territory. Identify and develop new business opportunities with contractors, infrastructure companies, and government bodies. Meet monthly and quarterly sales targets and ensure revenue growth. Team Leadership Manage and mentor a team of sales executives. Monitor team performance and provide regular feedback and training. Customer Relationship Management Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients and key decision-makers. Address customer queries and complaints promptly to ensure customer satisfaction. Market Intelligence & Strategy Monitor competitor activities and market trends to refine sales strategy. Provide regular reports and forecasts to the management. Coordination Coordinate with service, parts, and finance departments to ensure smooth delivery and support for clients. Required Qualifications & Skills Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred). 5+ years of experience in sales, preferably in construction equipment, heavy machinery, or industrial sales. Strong leadership and communication skills. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. Good network within the infrastructure and construction industry in West Bengal. Knowledge of CRM software and basic MS Office tools. Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel.
