What youll do Developing automation solutions to enhance operational efficiency to reduce manual efforts and cost structure (lower TCO). Hands-On knowledge on HANA DB Administration & Linux. Work closely with Engineering teams to report/review/enhance overall Database performance. Monitor and optimize HANA system performance, including database tuning, query optimization, and resource management. Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to SAP HANA & Python-code effectively. Work on high priority incidents and provide on-call support on rotational basis. Participate and own various projects, proof-of-concept initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts. Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and Provide technical guidance to L1/L2 Teams. What you bring Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related discipline that provides a solid background in IT. Develop, test, and maintain backend services and APIs using Python (Django, FastAPI, Flask). Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices architecture. Experience on database design, optimization, and query performance tuning (SAP Hana/Oracle) Develop data migration, replication, and backup strategies to ensure data integrity and disaster recovery. Knowledge of stored procedures, functions, triggers, and complex SQL queries. Develop automation scripts and tools to improve deployment, testing, and operational workflows. Optimize and scale backend applications for performance and reliability. Troubleshoot production issues and provide efficient resolutions. Decision-making, persistence and can-do attitude Methodological and conceptual skills paired with analytical thinking Nice to Have Experience with machine learning automation or AI-driven workflows. Exposure to infrastructure as code (IaC) practices using Terraform or Ansible.
