Strong understanding of press/ Hammer and processes. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Key Responsibilities: Preventive & Predictive Maintenance: Plan and execute preventive maintenance schedules for closed die hammers, power presses, furnaces, cooling systems, and hydraulic systems. Maintain records of maintenance activities and equipment history. Breakdown Maintenance: Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues in hammer machines, bolster beds, dies, and associated equipment. Coordinate quick and efficient repairs to reduce downtime. Equipment Handling: Manage the upkeep of forging hammers (Bell drop hammers, pneumatic hammers, Press), Ensure optimal functioning of pneumatic and hydraulic systems. Spare Parts Management: Identify critical spare parts and maintain inventory. Raise purchase requisitions and ensure timely availability of spares. Safety & Compliance: Ensure all maintenance activities follow safety protocols and statutory regulations. Participate in safety audits, 5S, and root cause analysis for incidents or near misses. Team Coordination: Lead and guide maintenance technicians during shift operations. Coordinate with the production team for planning shutdowns and repairs. Continuous Improvement: Contribute to process improvements to reduce machine downtime and improve equipment reliability. Participate in Kaizen, TPM, or other plant improvement initiatives.
