Job Description

Job Title: GST Compliance Associate

Associate

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare, verify, and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9) in a timely and accurate manner.
Assist in departmental audits, respond to Show Cause Notices, and manage litigation matters.
Handle PAN India GST Compliance & Litigation for clients.
Coordinate with client teams and local associates for data collection and litigation follow-ups.
Support with TDS deposits, return filing, Income Tax Returns, and Tax Audit documentation.
Mentor and guide junior team members on assignments.
Maintain accurate documentation and provide regular updates to reporting seniors.
Use Advanced Excel and MS Office for data analysis and reporting.

Candidate Requirements:

Semi-qualified CA/CMA or Commerce Graduate with 23 years of relevant experience.

Preferred Background:

Prior experience in a Tax Consultancy or CA firm handling GST and Income Tax.

Key Skills:

Strong understanding of GST and Income Tax laws.
Good drafting and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to multitask and meet deadlines under pressure.
Quality-focused with strong professional ethics.
