"Hiring for One of Our Client" Role & responsibilities GSE Tooling Design Focus only on Ground Support Equipment , not vehicles (e.g., no cranes). Tools designed for aircraft maintenance or manufacturing . Create designs from concepts provided by aerospace clients. Handle end-to-end design lifecycle: Conceptualize tools based on vague inputs Translate requirements into CAD models Supervise team execution of designs Lead a team of Design Engineers Delegate and review their design work Standards & Regulations Ensure all work follows: EASA (European Union Aviation Safety Agency) guidelines CE norms (European Conformity) AS9100 / EN9100 (Aerospace Quality Management Standards) ISO Tolerance Systems Own complete tooling projects Responsible for new product development Should have led teams previously Capable of change management Tool Maintenance Oversee MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul) tooling Responsible for post-design maintenance and documentation Required Software Skills: CATIA V5 AutoCAD 3D ( Both are mandatory no exceptions ) Additional Skills: Documentation : Should be able to document tooling processes Communication : Must have strong English communication skills Many mechanical/aerospace professionals lack this it's a key screening criterion Strict Must-Have: Must have worked in aerospace domain Must have GSE tooling experience (NOT electrical, NOT ship design) Profiles without GSE exposure or from other industries will be rejected outright Interested candidates kindly forward your resume to swetha.s@thompsonshr.com
