The Impact you will have in this role: As the Lead Jira Developer for the Jira Governance & Support Team you will collaborate with other IT SMEs and the DTCC Jira user community to ensure the continuous improvement of our Jira implementation.This position is responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software applications based on the Atlassian Jira platform. This position works closely with project and product managers, business analysts, other developers, and end users to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions that align with DTCCs Jira implementation best practices and standards. What Youll Do Design, develop, test, and maintain DTCCs Jira implementation using its configuration capabilities supplemented by Groovy scripts. Create custom workflows, fields, screens, permissions, and other Jira configurations to meet business requirements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements. Conduct code reviews and ensure code quality, performance, and security. Support creation and execution of test cases. Document process using both narrative and diagram artifacts. Troubleshoot and resolve Jira-related issues.
