Graduate Mechanical Engineer

Job Description: As a Graduate Engineer Trainee (Mechanical) at our company, you will be an integral part of the Millwork CAD team. This role is perfect for fresh mechanical engineering graduates (2024 or 2025 pass-outs) who possess a proficient understanding of AutoCAD and a keen interest in millwork drafting and production documentation. Your main responsibilities will include preparing precise millwork shop drawings using AutoCAD, interpreting architectural and design intent drawings, creating detailed 2D drawings for cabinetry, furniture, and custom woodwork, collaborating with project leads and senior CAD technicians to ensure the delivery of high-quality drawings, incorporating material specifications, hardware, and joinery details according to client requirements, maintaining compliance with industry and BluEnt CAD quality standards, as well as effectively organizing and managing drawing files and project documentation. To be successful in this role, you should hold a B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering and have strong proficiency in AutoCAD (2D drafting). While basic knowledge of woodworking or manufacturing processes would be advantageous, attention to detail, solid drafting fundamentals, effective communication, and teamwork skills are essential. An eagerness to learn and develop in the field of millwork drafting is highly valued. Additionally, exposure to furniture design, woodworking, or millwork (through projects/internships) is preferred but not mandatory.
