Job Title: Monitoring, Evaluation & Documentation Consultant Location: Ranchi Experience Level: 5+ years Company: KPMG Advisory Services Pvt Ltd Practice: Education and Skill Development Job Summary: The Monitoring, Evaluation & Documentation (MEAL) Consultant will play a critical role in supporting the Education Departments initiatives, including PM SHRI, FLN (Foundational Literacy and Numeracy), and Teacher Needs Assessment. Reporting and Documentation Prepare comprehensive M&E reports highlighting key findings, lessons learned, and best practices. Document success stories, case studies, and coffee table books to showcase program impact. Identify and disseminate innovative practices and lessons learned for mid-course corrections. 4. Capacity Building & Stakeholder Engagement Design and facilitate training sessions and workshops for teachers, BRPs, CRPs, and district nodal staff on M&E tools and practices. Provide technical support and mentorship to strengthen M&E capacity within the department. Collaborate with JEPC officials, NGOs, and community organizations to align M&E efforts with broader education goals. Facilitate regular stakeholder meetings to ensure participation and buy-in. 5. Quality Assurance Ensure the integrity and reliability of M&E processes and outputs. Conduct regular field visits to monitor implementation quality and report findings to the Nodal Officer for timely action. Qualifications: Masters degree in Education, Social Sciences, Public Policy, or a related field. Minimum 5 years of experience in Monitoring & Evaluation, preferably in the education sector. Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets, and data visualization tools. Experience in designing M&E frameworks and tools. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively with diverse stakeholders. Desirable Skills: Experience with government education programs or donor-funded projects. Knowledge of PM SHRI, FLN, and other national education initiatives. Familiarity with qualitative and quantitative research methods.
