Manager Maintenance for EV vehicle components Manufacturing For Auto OEM for Korean Auto MNC Position: Engineer - Maintenance Location: Pillaipakam , Factory site Department: Department: Maintenance Qualification: BE Electrical and Electronics OR BE Mechanical Experience: 15 to 20 years Age: 35 to 45 years Job Description - Role Summary We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to oversee the upkeep, reliability, and continuous improvement of machinery, equipment, and facilities in our Electronic based components manufacturing unit. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with IATF 16949 standards, implement preventive/predictive.maintenance strategies, and lead a team to minimize downtime while optimizing operational efficiency. . Roles and Responsibilities Lead preventive/predictive maintenance for Electronic SMT bassed manufacturing equipment (SMT Machines , CNC, assy. machines). Ensure 100% compliance with IATF 16949 standards, audits, and documentation. Minimize downtime through rapid troubleshooting of PLC, robotics, and power electronics . Implement TPM/Lean initiatives to improve OEE and reduce MTTR/MTBF. Manage spare parts inventory and vendor contracts for critical components. Train teams on safety, new tech, and IATF protocols. Drive energy-saving projects (motor drives, HVAC) to cut operational costs. Conduct root cause analysis (RCA/FMEA) for chronic equipment failures. Oversee installation/commissioning of new machinery. Collaborate with production/R&D for process optimization. Ensure adherence to OSHA/NFPA safety standards. Report on maintenance KPIs (downtime, costs, compliance) to senior management. Assembly Line & Test Shop machine maintenance knowledge PLC GX Works2/3 or GX Developer . Knowledge Integrate Mitsubishi PLCs with HMIs (e.g., Proface,GOT series) and SCADA systems. Integration of Vision system , Electric screw drivers and nut runners , Glue dispensing system knowledge 16.Maintain and repair electrical components like motors, drives (e.g., Mitsubishi FR series inverters), sensors, and contactors. 17.Perform preventive maintenance using CMMS tools. Knowledge and Skills Required Expertise in industrial electrical systems, PLCs (Siemens/Allen-Bradley), hydraulics, and pneumatics . Hands-on experience with automation, robotics, and precision calibration tools . Strong knowledge of IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and safety standards (OSHA/NFPA) . Proficiency in CMMS software (e.g., SAP PM, Maximo) and data-driven maintenance. Analytical mindset with experience in OEE tracking and Six Sigma methodologies . Mechanical systems knowledge (hydraulics, pneumatics, Screw tightening ( Atlas Capco , Estic , , Auto gluing machine Graco , Leak Testing Machines, Ateq, Fukuda, cosmo Etc ) Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills 8.
