As a SAP SD (SAP Sales and Distribution) Consultant at CGI, you will be responsible for leveraging your 7+ years of experience in SAP SD to contribute to both implementation and support projects. Your role will involve adapting existing methods and procedures to create alternative solutions for moderately complex problems. You will need to understand the strategic direction set by senior management and use your considerable judgment to determine solutions, seeking guidance on complex issues when needed. Your primary upward interaction will be with your direct supervisor, while you may also interact with peers and management levels at a client. Your responsibilities will include demonstrating strong functional Configuration skills in SAP SD, including order processing, shipping, and billing, as well as POS integration and SAP FICO AR, AP, GL reporting for month-end closing. You will design, configure, and test SD, EWM, MM processes in the healthcare and shared services industry, especially in the EMEA region. Additionally, you will represent complex business processes in SAP SD, initiate new projects to improve operational reporting and data quality in the SAP system, and design and deliver retail-specific processes with end-to-end functional configuration in SAP. As a valued member of our team, you will assist in planning and delivering test plans from business processes flowing through SAP. You will engage with third parties and internal architecture and technical teams to develop and agree on roadmap and transformation programs for packaged applications like SAP that align with both business and IT strategies. Perform monthly bookkeeping tasks, close the books on a regular basis, and prepare comprehensive financial reports and analyses. Ensure the accurate and timely submission of all monthly financial reports and information to the business. Oversee change flow management and execute necessary rectification journal vouchers (JVs) as required. Continuously evaluate current processes to identify inefficiencies and gaps, and propose and implement corrective actions. Serve as the primary point of contact for liaising with the US onshore team, ensuring effective and independent communication. Execute additional tasks and projects as assigned by management in a timely and efficient manner. Conduct thorough ledger scrutiny to verify the accuracy, correctness, and completeness of financial accounts. Perform reconciliations of various accounts, including intercompany, bank, income statements, vendor, and customer accounts. Address and resolve queries from auditors and interdepartmental teams independently, providing necessary information and details as required. Job Skills Required : Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in advanced MS Excel, Outlook, and MS Teams. Strong knowledge of advanced and intermediate accounting entries, rules, principles, and procedures. Expertise in final accounts, including Balance Sheet, P&L, and Ratio Analysis. Duties include but are not limited to: Full Accrual Accounting. Month-end closing and financial statement preparation for multiple entities (Non-Profit Corporations) with a high level of complexity. Able to perform departmental accounting functions. Process and review monthly bank and balance sheet reconciliations with extensive investments, prepaid expenses, fixed assets, deferrals, accruals, payroll liabilities, and reserves. Develop amortization and depreciation schedules. Develop and maintain supporting schedules and reports as requested. Budget development assistance and administration. Perform Year End close. Support Community Managers and Branch Financial Accounting Support Person (FASP), and Association Board of Directors (BOD) as requested. Work with supporting departments (Accounts Receivable (A/R), Accounts Payable (A/P), Data Management, Delinquency, Tax and Banking Team) on issue resolution. Other duties as assigned. This position is eligible for telecommuting based on business needs and performance. Knowledge and Skills Knowledge of internal company balancing. Knowledge of general ledger accounting. Knowledge of A/P transaction process and A/R transaction process. Knowledge of an Accounting Shared Services Center environment. Evaluate, analyze, and prioritize data in various forms and formats. Knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures (US GAAP). Knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) at a proficient level. Knowledge of conflict resolution techniques at a proficient level. Professional communication skills (phone, interpersonal, written, verbal, etc.). Professional customer service skills. Self-motivated, proactive, detail oriented and a team player. Time management and time critical prioritization skills.
