Role: GitLab Administrator Experience: 4-8 years Location: Mumbai, Bangalore, Pune Experience required. -GitLab platform administration (e.g., user/group permissions, runners, self-hosted installation, upgrades, backups). -Linux administration experience GitLab is typically hosted on Linux; this is a key gap. -GitLab runner configuration, GitLab API, webhooks, or monitoring GitLab performance/security. -Bash/Python scripting – preferred for Linux/GitLab environments. -Kubernetes, Docker, or Helm experience – sometimes relevant for GitLab scalability. You will be responsible for: Building scalable, highly available, secure, and cost-optimized infrastructure on the Microsoft Azure platform Leveraging Version Control Systems such as GitLab and Azure Repos for secure storage and versioning of source code Building and optimizing CI/CD pipelines on platforms like Azure DevOps and GitLab while following best practices. You will closely collaborate with the Engineers to assist them with troubleshooting and optimizing their pipelines. Provisioning and orchestrating container workloads using Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm charts. Commercial experience in troubleshooting issues in production environments is required. Using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform to seamlessly deploy infrastructure resources. Developing scripts using Python, PowerShell, or Bash What should you have? A minimum of 4 years of experience in a DevOps role A minimum of an MQF Level 6 qualification, or higher in any field related to Information Technology Solid grasp of basic network, security, and software development concepts It would be nice if you bring: Experience in setting up and administering the self-hosted version of the GitLab platform Experience in provisioning, maintaining and extending AKS clusters Configuration Management using Ansible Management of Windows and Linux infrastructure Change Management experience in a regulated environment IT Certifications in Microsoft Azure and Kubernetes (Certified Kubernetes Administrator, Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert, and Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert)
