GCP DevOps Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team, responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable, secure, and efficient cloud-based infrastructure and applications using GCP Cloud, CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and orchestration. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in DevOps, cloud computing, and automation, with excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for innovation. Key Responsibilities: Design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and efficient cloud-based infrastructure and applications using GCP Cloud. Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using TeamCity, Octopus, and GitHub Actions to automate the build, test, and deployment of applications. Implement containerization using Docker and orchestration using Kubernetes to ensure efficient and scalable deployment of applications. Configure and manage monitoring and logging tools such as Grafana, PagerDuty, and Loggly to ensure real-time visibility and alerting. Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform to manage and provision cloud infrastructure. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and develop technical solutions. Develop and maintain documentation using Notion to ensure clear and up-to-date documentation of infrastructure and applications. Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices. Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues and bugs in a timely and efficient manner. Stay up-to-date with the latest DevOps tools, technologies, and best practices. Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the growth and development of the team. Requirements: 4+ years of experience in DevOps, cloud computing, and automation. Strong understanding of GCP Cloud services, including Compute Engine, Storage, and Networking. Experience with CI/CD pipelines using TeamCity, Octopus, and GitHub Actions. Proficient in containerization using Docker and orchestration using Kubernetes. Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Grafana, PagerDuty, and Loggly. Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Experience with source control systems such as Git. Experience with Agile development methodologies.
