Senior Data Engineer

Key Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain robust
data pipelines
and
ETL workflows
using
Apache Airflow
and
GCP services
.
Work extensively with
BigQuery
for data modeling, query optimization, and large-scale data analysis.
Develop scalable
Python
scripts for data extraction, transformation, and automation.
Ensure high levels of data integrity, quality, and availability across systems.
Collaborate closely with Data Analysts, Data Scientists, and Engineering teams to gather requirements and deliver data-driven solutions.
Participate in architecture design, code reviews, and performance tuning.
Maintain clear documentation of systems, processes, and data flows.

Required Skills and Experience

5+ years of experience
in Data Engineering.
Proven hands-on experience with
Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Cloud Composer, etc.
Strong command of
SQL
and working knowledge of
BigQuery
.
Advanced proficiency in
Python
for scripting and automation.
Experience in designing and managing workflows using
Apache Airflow
.
Good understanding of
data warehousing concepts
,
ETL best practices
, and
data modeling
.
Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
