Diagnose and manage a wide range of gastrointestinal, hepatic, and pancreatic disorders. Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, including: Upper GI endoscopy (OGD) Colonoscopy ERCP Sigmoidoscopy Collaborate with surgeons, oncologists, radiologists, and other specialists for integrated patient care. Provide in-patient and out-patient consultation services. Ensure proper documentation, reporting, and follow-up care plans. Maintain high standards of infection control and procedural safety. Train and supervise junior doctors, nurses, and endoscopy technicians. Participate in academic activities, clinical audits, and CME programs. Support hospital quality initiatives and comply with NABH standards (if applicable). Skills & Competencies: Strong clinical and diagnostic acumen Proficiency in endoscopic and advanced GI procedures Sound knowledge of current gastroenterological guidelines and practices Effective communication and teamwork skills Commitment to patient safety and ethical practice Familiarity with EMR/HIS systems
