As an Air Conditioning Technician, your primary responsibility will be to diagnose, repair, assemble, and maintain air conditioning units in a workshop setting. You will ensure that the units are thoroughly tested and ready for installation or rental. Your key responsibilities will include diagnosing and repairing faults in various types of AC units such as split, window, and inverter units. Additionally, you will be required to perform tasks like cleaning, gas charging, and part replacement including compressors, PCBs, motors, etc. It will also be your duty to assemble and test AC units before dispatch, maintain tools, ensure safety protocols, and uphold cleanliness in the workspace. You will be expected to keep a record of daily job status and provide updates to your supervisor. Occasionally, you may need to support the field team as and when required. To excel in this role, you must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in AC repair and maintenance. A strong technical knowledge of major AC brands such as O General, Daikin, Mitsubishi, etc., is essential. You should possess the ability to identify and troubleshoot faults quickly.
