Full-Stack Developer Intern

As a Full-Stack Developer Intern with 0 to 1 years of experience at hrGENie, you will play a pivotal role in revolutionizing the HR-tech space through the power of AI. With a mission to transform talent acquisition, hrGENie utilizes an AI-powered skill-based screening agent to streamline the recruitment process, thus enabling recruiters and hiring teams to identify the best-fit talent efficiently while saving time and reducing costs. Joining our dynamic and innovative team on our 0 to 1 journey, you will collaborate closely with the founder as one of the Founding Team Engineers. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the product and directly impact real customers from day one. Key Responsibilities: - Take ownership of building and managing our product in production. - Contribute to the development and enhancement of the product to meet the needs of recruiters and candidates. - Work on 0-1 product development, focusing on creating a seamless and impactful user experience. - Utilize your expertise in JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Node.js, Express.js, MongoDB, and Tailwind CSS to drive innovation and efficiency in product development. - Integrate AI APIs such as OpenAI, Gemini, or be willing to learn and work with LLMs to enhance the product's capabilities. - Implement CI/CD pipelines, leverage the AWS cloud platform, and adhere to modern DevOps practices to ensure scalability and reliability. - Demonstrate a strong problem-solving mindset and a hacker mentality to iterate quickly and find effective solutions. - Write clean, tested, and maintainable code to uphold high standards of quality and performance. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is mandatory. - 0-1 years of full-stack development experience, with a preference for exposure to startup or fast-paced environments. - Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Node.js, Express.js, MongoDB, and Tailwind CSS. - Familiarity with integrating AI APIs or a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies. - Experience in building and managing production-level applications. - Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, AWS cloud platform, and modern DevOps practices. - Ability to thrive in a startup environment, embrace ambiguity, multitask, and work at a rapid pace. - Passion for delivering impactful solutions and contributing to a collaborative team culture.
