It is essential to maintain a deep understanding of modern technologies and serve as a technical advisor for decarbonization and energy efficiency projects. Your role will also involve planning and coordinating crew training, ensuring alignment with client KPIs and regulatory frameworks, and working towards product developments and changing performance standards. The ideal candidate for this position should be a Chief Engineer (Class 1 COC) with recent sailing experience on tankers or gas carriers. You should have at least 2 years of shore-based experience in vessel performance or energy efficiency, strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and experience in stakeholder management. A proven track record in conducting root cause analysis and implementing performance improvement measures is highly desirable. Moreover, you should possess the ability to lead and coach a small performance analyst team for data support and diagnostics.
