Preferred candidate profile Bachelor of Electrical/ Electronic Engineering Exposure to applicable testing and certification standards. Should have versatile knowledge in industrial products. Mechanical concepts understanding This position is also responsible for providing local expertise in one or more product categories and mentoring and training junior technical personnel. Proficiency and/or standards knowledge with machinery products (textiles, Special purpose machines, Machining centres and packaging & printing etc.), Laboratory and measurement equipment. Knowledge on Functional safety. Preference will be given for the candidates with Functional safety certificate (FSP, CMSE, CFSP, MSE, etc.) Provide local technical expertise and maintain reviewer status for the product categories assigned. Standards exposure to IEC 60204, ISO 12100 and Type A, B & C and Machinery standards, IEC 61010, UL 508, Power generation products and other national international standards. Assist with providing quotations for a large array of standards and complex projects and products. Perform preliminary design reviews (PDR) both on and off site. Provide complex sales support such as giving presentations during client visits. Communicate project status and test results to client, sales personnel, and management throughout scheduled projects. Provide on-going support to clients as needed.

Mandatory Skills : 5-15 years of experience in the x86 BIOS/UEFI FSP/coreboot development Experience with x86 CPU/APU architectures and associated compilation tools Expert in C language Experience with platform bring-up Familiar with coreboot boot stages, upds, memory map, FSP, devicetree concept, payloads to OS bootloader handoff Working experience of industry standard protocols like PCIe, SPI, eSPI, ACPI, SMM Experience on working with opensource coreboot project & mainboard related porting with GPIO, PCIe lanes, board fmd configs and board bring-up experience on customer platforms. Experience on working with Intel FSP package source code and understanding of coreboot & FSP boot flow Understanding of coreboot & FSP build tools and build processes Experience of working with different coreboot payloads like edk2, SeaBios, Tianocore etc Ability to read platform Hardware and Processor specifications to understand the coreboot mainboard porting required Good understanding of UEFI framework concepts to port UEFI code to FSP Additional Skillset : Working knowledge of Git for code reviews, source code management, and BIOS releases to QA. Ability to juggle tasks and respond to different teams for various requests for custom BIOS requirements. Good understanding of x86-64 architecture from BIOS developers perspective.
