Job Title: Freight Forwarding Sales Manager Air & Ocean Freight Department: Sales Location: Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad Employment Type: Full-Tim Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales manager - Business Development manager to join our freight forwarding team, specializing in air and ocean freight. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, maintaining client relationships, and achieving sales targets through customized logistics solutions. Key Responsibilities: Identify and develop new business opportunities for air and ocean freight services. Manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals. Develop strong relationships with clients to understand their logistics needs and offer tailored solutions. Work closely with operations and customer service teams to ensure successful onboarding and service delivery. Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and rate quotations. Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets. Maintain accurate records of sales activities and pipeline using CRM software. Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments. Attend networking events, industry conferences, and trade shows as required. Qualifications and Skills: Proven sales experience in international freight forwarding, particularly air and ocean freight (3+ years preferred). Strong understanding of global logistics, INCOTERMS, and customs regulations. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently. Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce). Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.
