Freelance Animator

You are a highly skilled and self-driven 2D Animator who can independently manage animation projects from concept to completion. Your strong storytelling abilities and proficiency in every stage of the animation pipeline, from interpreting scripts to designing characters, props, and backgrounds, will be crucial for this role. Your key responsibilities will include interpreting and visualizing scripts into compelling animated videos, designing original 2D characters, props, and backgrounds tailored to each project's style and tone, creating storyboards and animatics, executing full animation cycles, and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality animations that align with project guidelines and storytelling objectives. Additionally, you will collaborate with scriptwriters and sound designers when necessary while maintaining creative autonomy and taking full ownership of projects, managing deadlines and deliverables with minimal supervision. To be successful in this role, you should have proven experience as a 2D Animator with a strong portfolio showcasing character design, scene composition, and storytelling. Proficiency in animation software such as Adobe Animate, After Effects, Toon Boom Harmony, or equivalent tools is required. Strong drawing skills with a good grasp of anatomy, perspective, and color theory are essential, along with the ability to create and maintain a consistent visual style and tone throughout a project. Excellent time management, attention to detail, and self-organization skills are also necessary, as well as the ability to handle multiple projects and deliver under tight deadlines.
