Position: Field Sales Engineer Location: Baroda Department: Field Core, AU Sales Summary: The Field Sales Engineer is responsible for building a strong understanding of customer needs and serves by identifying their needs and engineering adaptations of products, equipment, and services in the steam system. Responsible for effective coverage of the territory and entire sales process from doing plant studies, offer generation, technical presentation, convincing customer, negotiation, order collection & processing, execution, documentation letter within allocated territory. Key Duties & Responsibilities: Travelling daily and studying multiple plants to meet customers for the technical discussions Experience in field sales of Industrial products which involve engineering / tailor made offerings to customers based on Benefit Selling to Industrial customer base preferably Paper, Textile and Garment, Food and Beverages, Pharma & Chemical Capturing steam system information systematically in the survey. Analyzing the details and providing solutions based on benefits/savings. Submitting proposals in line with potential and getting systematic repeated business. Business - starting with basic product range to the large value package with benefits and savings to customers. Focus on high quality business. Documenting benefits for customers. Completing the sales cycle of studying the plants, generating business, getting orders, commissioning help and savings documentation, Payment collection. Analysis of Market trends in his grid, potential of Business, Business plans, Strive to achieve individual and organization targets. Goals: Field Sales Engineer works with multiple functions within the business including engineering, operations, sales, and business development to achieve targets and accomplish segment growth goals. This position requires a customer-centric mind-set in order to identify current and future solutions based on benefits and convert into business by establishing personal rapport with potential and actual customers Technical Skills/Competencies: Self-starter and owns the business. Communication skills and ability to get along with people. Initiative and ambition to grow. Selling and Negotiation Skills Rapport Building Observation skill with Objective Competence to derive the solution & conviction to drive initiatives Referencing within the grid customers Education: 3-6 years of experience with knowledge of Sales for industrial products Experience: BE (Instrumentation or Electronics)
