As a Flight Specialist at Vara, you will play a crucial role in managing end-to-end flight bookings and providing high-touch support to our elite clientele. You will be utilizing various Global Distribution Systems (GDS) such as Sabre, Amadeus, and Galileo to manage flight bookings, rebookings, cancellations, and ticket issuances. Additionally, you will be tasked with coordinating multi-city, international, and round-the-world itineraries, applying airline fare rules, and resolving fare disputes directly with airline partners. To excel in this role, you should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in flight ticketing for high-net-worth clients, proficiency in at least one GDS, and a deep understanding of international travel, fare construction, and route planning. Familiarity with industry standards like BSP, ARC, PNR management, and airline invoicing is essential, with an IATA Foundation or Consultant Certification being preferred. We are seeking individuals who possess excellent verbal communication skills, meticulous attention to detail, and can remain composed under pressure. If you have prior experience in luxury travel, private aviation, or VIP ticketing, it would be considered a bonus.
