As a UAV Test Pilot based in Mumbai, Maharashtra, you will be responsible for conducting flight testing of Multi-rotors and VTOL drones. Your duties will include tuning the drones, soldering various boards and wires, and providing detailed feedback reports of test flights to the R&D team. Your role will also involve maintaining pre- and post-flight logs, as well as inspecting activities. Additionally, you will be required to assemble/disassemble, maintain, and repair UAVs, configure autopilot software, and work with Pixhawk systems. To excel in this position, you should have at least three years of experience flying Pixhawk-based Multirotors, a complete understanding of Ardupilot, and the capability to tune aircraft of any size. Preference will be given to candidates with a minimum of three months of experience flying heavy drones. Strong soldering skills for both large wires and SMD boards are essential, along with expertise in Pixhawk, Ardupilot, and PX4 systems. You must also possess computer and documentation skills, as well as the ability to work both independently and in a team environment. As a UAV Test Pilot, you should demonstrate good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, actively seeking solutions for any equipment or work-related issues that may arise. You must be comfortable working in the field for extended hours and be willing to travel nationwide. Moreover, your role may require you to work outdoors in remote environments, regardless of weather conditions. Fluency in English and Hindi is necessary for effective communication in this role. Candidates residing in Mumbai or Navi-Mumbai with a positive attitude towards hard work are preferred.
