Job Title: Fleet Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Fleet Coordinator to oversee the daily operations and maintenance of our company's vehicle fleet. The Fleet coordinator will be responsible for ensuring the efficiency, safety, and cost-effectiveness of our vehicles and drivers.

Responsibilities:

Fleet Maintenance :

Schedule and coordinate regular vehicle maintenance.

Manage relationships with external maintenance vendors and negotiate service agreements.

Ensure all vehicles are maintained to the highest safety and operational standards.

Track and manage vehicle and maintenance records.

Monitor and control maintenance costs.

Driver Management :

Supervise and support company drivers, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.

Monitor driver performance and address any issues or concerns.

Assist with driver training and onboarding processes.

Ensure compliance with all relevant transportation regulations and safety standards.

Manage driver schedules and assignments as needed.

Fleet Operations:

Monitor vehicle utilization and identify opportunities for optimization.

Maintain accurate records of vehicle inventory, mileage, fuel consumption, and operational costs.

Implement and enforce fleet safety policies and procedures.

Manage vehicle assignments and dispatching as required.

Handle vehicle accidents and incidents according to company protocols.

Compliance and Reporting:

Ensure all fleet operations comply with local, state, and federal regulations.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date vehicle registration, insurance, and licensing.

Prepare regular reports on fleet performance, maintenance costs, and safety records.

Assist with budget preparation and monitoring for the fleet department.

Qualifications:

Any Degree

2 to 4 years of Experience

Proven experience in supervising and managing drivers and/or maintenance personnel.

Proficiency in using fleet management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
