We are looking for a qualified and experienced MEP Engineer / Fire Fighting Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the installation, testing, and commissioning of fire fighting systems, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and safety standards. Roles & Responsibilities: Supervise and coordinate the installation of fire protection systems such as sprinklers, hydrants, FM200, CO2, water mist, etc. Review project drawings, technical specifications, and materials for compliance with NFPA and local fire codes. Conduct on-site inspections and ensure quality control throughout the project execution. Oversee and perform system testing, commissioning, and functional performance validation. Identify and troubleshoot technical issues during installation and commissioning phases. Liaise with clients, consultants, and local authorities (e.g., Civil Defense) for approvals and inspections. Prepare and submit method statements, test reports, and inspection documents. Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards and safe site practices. Conduct training for clients or end-users on the operation and maintenance of fire fighting systems, if required. Preferred Candidate Profile: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline. 2 to 7 years of relevant experience in fire fighting system installation and commissioning. Strong knowledge of NFPA standards, local fire protection regulations, and MEP coordination. Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, schematics, and technical documents. Practical experience with pressure testing, flow testing, and system integration. Strong communication, coordination, and reporting skills. Certifications such as NFPA training or Civil Defense approval will be an added advantage.
