Duration: 8Months Job Type: Contract Work Type: Onsite Job Description : The Clint seeks a FinOps Analyst to join the AWS Finance Automation Reporting Management team (AFARM) based out of Hyderabad, India. The candidate will be responsible for creating and maintaining key reports and supporting processes for various AWS finance teams. Excellent written and verbal communication, attention to details and technical ability to implement report automation using visual basic and excel macros is a preferred requirement for this position. Specific duties include: Support AWS Data Center Finance teams with month end accrual reports Validate the invoice details as part of the invoice actualization process Drive a rigorous and proactive cadence of communications, keeping stakeholders informed on current statuses and engaged in key decisions. Proactively identifying areas for process improvement and automation, including issue identification, solution definition, and documentation. Provide data-driven analytics and support to business partners in identifying and resolving issues Investigating operational & financial data discrepancies in order to gain resolution Auditing of records on regular basis, per Finance Operations policies Creating/Editing SQL queries and pulling reports from Finance database Candidates must have: 3+ years of demonstrable experience in one or more of the following areas: finance operations, finance, accounting, asset management, accounts payable. Outstanding attention to detail, problem solving, and analytical skills Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines Basic qualifications: A degree at the Bachelor level or higher. 3+ years of demonstrable experience in one or more of the following areas: finance operations, finance, accounting, asset management, accounts payable. Outstanding attention to detail, problem solving, and analytical skills Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines Preferred qualifications: Master's degree in a finance or business discipline Visual Basic coding, Excel Macros creation, and MySQL database and query design, and data integration and reporting .
