Key Responsibilities Audit Planning & Execution: Develop and execute comprehensive audit plans to assess financial records, internal controls, and compliance with industry regulations. Financial Analysis: Analyze financial statements, identify discrepancies, and provide recommendations for improvements. Compliance Monitoring: Ensure adherence to accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies. Reporting: Prepare detailed audit reports and present findings to senior management. Process Improvement: Identify areas for operational efficiency and cost-saving opportunities within financial processes. Collaboration: Work closely with internal departments to gather information and provide financial insights. Qualifications Education: Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Certification: Chartered Accountant (CA) is mandatory Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in financial auditing, preferably within the shipping or logistics industry. Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Tally) and Microsoft Office Suite. Knowledge: Strong understanding of accounting principles, auditing standards (e.g., IFRS), and financial regulations. Analytical Skills: Exceptional attention to detail with strong problem-solving abilities. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Preferred Skills Experience in freight auditing or shipping finance analysis. Familiarity with logistics management systems and tools. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
