Field Sales Executive

Role & responsibilities

• Visit retail outlets, salons, Ayurvedic stores, and pharmacies within the assigned territory.
• Promote and sell the companys cosmetic and Ayurvedic product range.
• Achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
• Generate new leads and convert them into business opportunities.
• Ensure proper merchandising and product visibility at retail counters.
• Educate clients on product benefits and usage, especially Ayurvedic formulations.
• Collect market intelligence on competitors, pricing, and customer preferences.
• Handle product demonstrations, sampling, and promotional campaigns.
• Maintain strong after-sales service and build long-term customer relationships.
• Provide regular sales reports, forecasts, and feedback to the sales manager.
• Coordinate with the supply chain team for order fulfillment and inventory tracking.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience in field sales, preferably in cosmetics, personal care, Ayurvedic, or FMCG sector.
• Knowledge of Ayurvedic products and natural beauty industry trends is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong negotiation and closing abilities.
• Self-motivated, target-oriented, and customer-focused.
• Ability to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
• Minimum qualification: Graduate in any stream (Science/Pharmacy/Ayurveda preferred).
• Familiarity with local market language and culture.

Work Environment:

• Field-based role with regular travel to clients.
• Involves working in retail settings, trade shows, exhibitions, and client meetings.
