Shift Engineer In-Process Quality Skilled in QC/QA with strong process knowledge of GDC and machining. Proficient in 7 QC tools, defect analysis, and troubleshooting. Knowledge of IATF 16949, OHSAS, TPM, and customer handling. Knowledge of defect analysis & action plan, rejection analysis record & disposal process. Job Location: Chakan, Pune 2. Shift Engineer Customer Support Resolve quality concerns at customer sites Handle customer communications and data monitoring Expertise in QC/QA with knowledge of casting, machining, powder coating, and painting processes. Proficient in 7 QC tools, troubleshooting, and process decision-making. Job Locations: Vitthlapur & Tapukara 3. Shift Engineer Preventive Maintenance Strong maintenance knowledge of CNC, GDC, heat treatment, shot blasting, and paint shop equipment. Skilled in hydraulics, pneumatics, PLC systems, and Fanuc programming. Proficient in TPM, IATF, OHSAS standards with focus on preventive/predictive maintenance and critical spares verification. Experienced in breakdown analysis, cost control, and maintenance documentation including MRM preparation and data management. Job Location: Chakan, Pune 4. Shift Engineer Production (Fettling) In-depth knowledge of aluminium foundry processes including melting, gravity die casting, and post-operations like gate cutting and fettling. Hands-on experience in aluminium alloy gravity die casting operations with strong troubleshooting and process control skills. Skilled in manpower management, operator training (OJT), and handling unionized workforce. Proficient in quality systems (IATF 16949, OHSAS, TPM), OEE calculation, and conducting rejection review meetings. Job Location: Chakan, Pune 5. Shift Engineer Production (Gravity Die Casting) Experienced in aluminium gravity die casting and foundry operations. Skilled in manpower management, troubleshooting, and OEE monitoring. Knowledgeable in IATF 16949, OHSAS, TPM, and preventive maintenance. Focus on operator training, quality review, and cost control. Experienced in union handling and 5S implementation. Job Location: Chakan, Pune Candidate Profile: Experience: 4 to 10 years (relevant industry experience mandatory) Education: Diploma or Bachelors degree in Mechanical, Production, or Manufacturing Engineering (Preferred) Note: Candidates holding only ITI or qualifications below Diploma will not be considered for the interview. Roles & Responsibilities Responsible for overall subcontractor management (Machining and Post Machining Operations) Identifying suitable Sub-Contractors for existing and new parts machining and other coating applications whenever required. Getting competitive quote and finalize commercials in line with the business requirements in consultation with senior management team. Planning and scheduling on various sub contractors to meet the Business / Customer targets. Work with inhouse machining team to balance loads and capacity to ensure proper utilization of inhouse machines. Should be capable of handling smaller volumes and huge variety of part nos and should be based out of Coimbatore, with clear knowledge and contacts of subcontract base in and around Coimbatore Responsible for maintaining lower PPM at subcontract end machining and give timely feedback to foundry to reduce casting related rejections after machining. Responsible for timely delivery of machined parts to meet customer requirements. To work on reducing lead time reduction continuously to meet increased demand. Responsible for periodical rating of vendors and work on improving them to reach the desired levels, both in terms of delivery and Quality Should be technically capable of resolving machining related issues at Subcontractor end and hence should have hands on experience in proving in machines and Cutting tool management. Responsible to improve the PPM levels at subcontractor end and effectively resolve any customer complaints arising from subcontract parts. Role & responsibilities Skills Required : Drive supplier selection through robust qualification processes Assess new and existing supplier capabilities to meet product, cost, quality, capacity and fulfillment ensuring suppliers are able to meet requirements for performance, quality, cost and delivery of components and requirements for TS 16949, ISO 14001 and other applicable customer and internal system and reputation requirements. Based on screening, prioritise preferred suppliers Drive improvements utilizing Lean methodologies, supplier scorecards and own supplier audit, ensuring supplier compliance, whilst driving systematic problem solving and process improvement plans to deliver value. Track the suppliers performance indicators, based on their scorecards and rankings, to facilitate and develop the supply bases ability to consistently meet or exceed defined expectations. Provide technical expertise and leadership to sourcing and development of suppliers with respect to technology, performance, quality, cost, logistics and delivery. Work with Engineering (Design and Manufacturing Engineers) team to define process parameters and criteria to ensure supplier process capability is effective to meet product and process requirements. Should drive strong ethical practices. Preferred candidate profile Minimum 15 years experience in vendor development ( Machining, Fettling & Heat Treatment ) Preferably from Engineering & Foundry Industry.
