Fashion Designer

As a Fashion Designer in the textiles industry, you will have the opportunity to showcase your talent by creating stylish and high-quality garments that contribute to shaping our brand's image and ensuring customer satisfaction. Additionally, you will be responsible for material sourcing, technical sketches, pattern creation, and overseeing the production process to maintain our quality standards. The ideal candidate for this role will have a strong passion for fashion, a deep understanding of current industry trends, and proficiency in design software programs like Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. Excellent communication and organizational skills, creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment are essential qualities for success in this position. Responsibilities include creating and developing designs for clothing collections, conducting research on new fabrics and color schemes, collaborating with various teams, creating technical sketches and specifications, overseeing sample production, participating in fittings, and effectively communicating design concepts through mood boards and presentations. Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or a related field - Proven experience as a Fashion Designer, preferably in the textiles industry - Strong portfolio showcasing innovative and commercially successful designs - Proficiency in design software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop) - Knowledge of fabrics, patterns, and garment construction techniques - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Attention to detail and strong organizational skills - Ability to meet tight deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment This is a full-time position located in Malappuram, Kerala. The expected start date is 21/07/2025. Ability to commute or plan to relocate before starting work is preferred. A diploma in Fashion Design is preferred, and a minimum of 1 year of experience in fashion design is required.
