Job Title: Fashion Designer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a creative and trend-savvy Fashion Designer to join our design team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and developing new clothing and accessory collections that align with our brand identity. The role involves staying ahead of fashion trends, understanding customer needs, and collaborating with production and marketing teams to bring designs to life.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct market research to identify new trends, fabrics, and techniques.
• Sketch designs and create technical drawings or digital mockups.
• Develop fashion concepts from ideation to final production.
• Select fabrics, embellishments, colors, and styles for each garment or collection.
• Collaborate with pattern makers, sample makers, and production teams.
• Oversee fittings and adjustments to ensure design integrity and garment quality.
• Manage design timelines and meet collection deadlines.
• Present final designs to management or clients for approval.
• Stay updated on fashion trends, consumer preferences, and industry innovations.
• Attend fashion shows, trade shows, and supplier meetings.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Textile Design, or a related field.
• Proven experience of 2- 4 years as a fashion designer or in a similar role.
• Strong portfolio showcasing creative design and technical skills.
• Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or CLO 3D.
• Knowledge of pattern making, draping, and garment construction.
• Excellent sense of style and color coordination.
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and team collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in sustainable or ethical fashion design.
• Knowledge of fashion marketing or merchandising.
• Understanding of fabric sourcing and production processes.
• Awareness of target market preferences and brand positioning.

Work Environment:

• Office or studio-based, with occasional travel to trade shows, suppliers, or manufacturers.
• May involve working extended hours during peak production seasons or fashion launches.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
