Faculty – Physics

Job Summary:

The Physics Department is seeking a passionate and qualified Faculty member with strong academic credentials in Physics. The candidate must hold a Master’s degree in Physics (M.Sc) with an undergraduate degree in B.Sc (Physics or related subject). A Ph.D. in Physics is preferred, though not mandatory. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years of teaching or research experience, and a deep commitment to undergraduate education, student mentorship, and academic excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach theoretical and practical Physics courses to undergraduate students (B.Sc and other programs).
• Design lab experiments, supervise practical sessions, and evaluate student performance.
• Guide students in academic projects, research activities, and science outreach programs.
• Develop course content and learning resources in line with curriculum and academic standards.
• Participate in departmental planning, seminars, and academic collaborations.
• Pursue research and publish in reputed journals (preferred).

Qualifications:

• M.Sc in Physics – Mandatory
• B.Sc in Physics or related field – Mandatory
• Ph.D. in Physics – Preferred
• Minimum of 4 years of teaching and/or academic research experience

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of classical and modern physics concepts.
• Ability to conduct lab experiments and demonstrations with clarity and safety.
• Good communication and analytical skills to engage students in scientific thinking.
• Research-oriented with interest in publishing and academic contribution.
• Familiarity with simulation tools, data analysis software, or digital lab platforms is a plus.
• Team player committed to academic quality and continuous improvement.
