Engineer Facility management Plant Assistant Manager Job Title: Facility and General Affairs Assistant Manager Location: Model Economic Township, Street No.3, Badli Village, Sondhi, Jhajjar, Haryana Industry: Automotive Manufacturing (Global Tier-1 Supplier) Interested candidates must contact S Krishnan at 8309618146 Role Overview This role ensures optimal upkeep and functioning of plant facilities (excluding production machinery) and general administrative support. The Assistant Manager is responsible for infrastructure maintenance, workplace safety, compliance, and administrative coordination, contributing to smooth plant operations and employee welfare. Key Responsibilities I. Plant Facility Management Maintenance & Repairs: Oversee daily inspection and preventive maintenance of factory infrastructure (mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing). Respond to breakdowns and emergencies. Utilities & HVAC: Maintain uninterrupted services of water and power systems. Ensure HVAC systems support temperature and humidity standards required for production. Safety & Environment: Monitor fire safety systems, conduct regular safety inspections, and support compliance with environmental and workplace regulations. Cleanliness & Waste Management: Maintain facility hygiene and assist in industrial waste disposal as per legal norms. Planning & Optimization: Support planning and improvement of utilities and facility infrastructure. II. Administrative & General Affairs Procurement & Asset Management: Manage office supplies, consumables, spare parts, and fixed assets (including inventory, maintenance, and disposal). Office Maintenance: Ensure cleanliness, equipment upkeep, and routine servicing of office appliances and systems. Support Services: Handle document control, internal mail, visitor reception, transportation logistics, and cross-departmental administrative needs. Safety & Coordination: Oversee office safety procedures, support internal events, and coordinate with vendors and other departments. Qualifications Bachelors degree in Engineering, Facility Management, or related fields. 58 years of relevant experience in plant facility operations and general affairs, preferably in the manufacturing or automotive sector. Strong knowledge of utilities, HVAC, safety protocols, asset tracking, and vendor management.
