You are a Business Development Manager with 4+ years of experience in business development and end-to-end sales within the events, exhibition & content marketing industry. As a sharp and self-driven individual, you will be responsible for managing the full sales cycle independently, from prospecting and pitching to closing deals. You should have a solid understanding of experiential marketing, client requirements, and the ability to translate them into winning proposals without requiring extensive guidance from creative or servicing teams. Your primary focus will be on generating and engaging with business partners to bring in new business for the company. You must possess strong communication skills, think critically when developing pitches and plans, and demonstrate the ability to execute strategies effectively. Key responsibilities include identifying new business opportunities through various channels, building a lead funnel aligned with the agency's strengths, understanding market dynamics and client needs, and leading pitch strategies and proposal creations. Collaboration with internal teams will be essential for accurate timelines, budgeting, and project execution feasibility. You will be responsible for developing client-focused materials, including decks, costing sheets, response documents, SOWs, contracts, and facilitating the handover to delivery/operations teams. Qualifications for this role include a bachelor's degree, 4+ years of relevant experience, strong communication and interpersonal skills, goal-oriented mindset, proficiency in MS Office and Google Workspace, and the ability to manage multiple leads simultaneously.
