We own and manage a portfolio of 10 niche recruitment websites that rank competitively on Google for various industry-specific keywords. With the recent launch of 3 new sites, we're now looking to hire a talented and experienced Website and SEO Manager to oversee and optimise the performance of our web presence. The Role As our Website and SEO Manager, you'll take full ownership of all our websites, driving SEO strategy, improving user experience, and maximising lead conversions. You'll work closely with our leadership team and external content providers to ensure all platforms are fully optimised for visibility, functionality, and performance. Key Responsibilities Manage SEO and web strategy across 10+ WordPress websites Create new landing pages and improve existing structures Oversee Google GA4 Analytics, Search Console, and Google Ads integration Plan and execute on-page SEO, internal linking, and keyword analysis Work with the marketing team to create and manage link building, PR, and outreach strategies Develop engaging and SEO-optimised content including videos, infographics, calculators, and stats Implement UX and CRO best practices to drive engagement and conversions Integrate and manage advanced website tools such as chatbots (Leadoo, F24) Manage complex website databases and ensure seamless integration with WordPress Monitor performance using tools such as SE Ranking and provide regular reporting Collaborate on website integration projects (e.g., CRMs, job boards, APIs) Support multi-brand website growth strategies Experience of managing English written websites and communicating with English speakers Required Skills and Experience Fluent in English, both written and oral Minimum 5 years of hands-on SEO experience At least 3 years of WordPress website management Experience managing and scaling multi-brand websites Proven use of keyword research and monitoring tools like SE Ranking Strong familiarity with GA4, Google Search Console, and Google Ads Solid understanding of UX and CRO best practices Experience with website integrations and managing structured databases Ability to produce and guide creation of user-friendly, high-converting content Recruitment or staffing industry experience is highly desirable Requirements of Working For Us Exec Recruit Group is a fast-paced, agile remote-only business that values reliability, speed, and proactive communication. We're looking for someone who is highly flexible and responsive, able to quickly jump in and resolve urgent website or SEO issues at short notice. While the role offers the freedom to choose your own working hours, you must be available for regular Microsoft Teams calls with our UK-based head office. To support this, you'll need fast and reliable internet, your own up-to-date laptop or desktop computer, and either a quiet, private workspace or a high-quality headset with microphone to ensure clear, uninterrupted communication. This position is offered strictly on a subcontractor basis to reduce overhead costs, allowing us to offer a highly competitive rate of pay. During your agreed working hours, you are expected to remain available and contactable via Teams to enable fast, collaborative dialogue as needed. You must have fluent in English with strong communications skill both written and oral. This role involves managing event marketing, content creation (such as brand blogs, client case studies and press releases) and supporting our multi-brand strategy across UK and US markets.
