Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Exchange Migration Engineer to lead and support our transition from an on-premises Microsoft Exchange environment to Exchange Online (Microsoft 365). The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Exchange Server, hybrid configurations, and cloud migration strategies, with a strong focus on minimizing disruption and ensuring a secure, seamless transition.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and document the current on-prem Exchange environment.
• Design and implement a comprehensive migration strategy to Exchange Online.
• Configure and manage hybrid Exchange environments.
• Migrate mailboxes, public folders, and other messaging components.
• Ensure continuity of mail flow and update DNS records as needed.
• Collaborate with security and compliance teams to align with organizational policies.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting during and after migration.
• Develop documentation and training materials for IT staff and end users.
• Monitor system performance and optimize post-migration configurations.

Required Qualifications:

• Proven experience with Microsoft Exchange Server (2010/2013/2016/2019).
• Hands-on experience migrating to Exchange Online (Microsoft 365).
• Strong understanding of Active Directory and Azure AD.
• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation and migration tasks.
• Familiarity with third-party migration tools (e.g., Quest, BitTitan).
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Certifications:

• Microsoft Certified: Messaging Administrator Associate
• Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Microsoft Teams and SharePoint Online integration.
• Knowledge of email security solutions (e.g., Proofpoint, Mimecast).
• Experience in large-scale enterprise migrations.
