The team responsible for Business Analytics at Seagate is seeking a skilled individual to join as a SAP BODS Developer. In this role, you will be involved in SAP BODS Development projects, including requirements analysis, solution conception, implementation, and development. Working closely with various cross-functional teams, you will be tasked with developing solutions related to BODS, architecting, developing, and maintaining BODS jobs, as well as designing complex data flows and workflows. Your responsibilities will also include ensuring timely delivery, adherence to scope, and industry best practices. To excel in this role, you should possess expertise in SAP BODS, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and strong analytical capabilities. Familiarity with offshore/onsite work models, the ability to articulate complex problems and solutions clearly, and experience collaborating virtually with professionals from diverse backgrounds are crucial. Problem-solving skills and a collaborative team player mindset are essential traits for success. Ideal candidates will have hands-on experience in SAP BODS tool implementation, designing and developing ETL data flows and jobs, and executing data migration strategies involving SAP BW4HANA and Enterprise HANA. Proficiency in various Data Services transformations, such as Map Operation, Table Comparison, Row-Generation, and SQL transformations, is required. Additionally, knowledge of integrating non-SAP/Cloud systems with SAP BW4HANA using Data Services, SQL/PLSQL, and SAP BW is highly beneficial. Familiarity with BODS administration, SAP BW, and exposure to SDI/SDA/Informatica will be advantageous.
