As a Li-ion Battery Manufacturing Process Planner at Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India Pvt. Ltd, your primary responsibilities will include planning and handling the Li-ion Battery manufacturing process and machines. You will be responsible for developing Automation Assembly processes and lines, as well as planning processes and equipment for new projects. As the Head of Production, you will play a crucial role in the planning, coordination, and control of manufacturing processes, focusing on Factory Layout and Production Layout. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to provide technical support, ensuring the production of top-notch products and adherence to best business practices. You will lead and manage teams and projects across the organization, offering clear direction, inspiration, and guidance to drive excellence and motivate staff towards success. Your primary responsibilities will involve designing and validating factory layout and production layout, developing engineering bills of process and resources, and planning manufacturing processes for assembly. You will be tasked with conducting capacity and cycle time calculations, as well as planning and designing equipment, tooling, jigs, and fixtures. Additionally, you will be involved in supplier qualification processes, developing quality metrics, and performing various analyses to ensure optimal performance and efficiency. Furthermore, you will be responsible for planning and executing MES architecture in line with ISA95 standards and implementing Industry 4.0 strategies. Managing factory operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, conducting safety and risk analyses, and implementing ISO standards will also be part of your role. To excel in this position, you should hold a BE/ME degree in Mechanical, Automobile, or Industrial Engineering, with a strong background in Factory and Layout planning. Experience in automated and manual assembly lines, tool design, manufacturing processes, and knowledge of quality standards are essential. Familiarity with GD&T, tolerance stack-up analysis, APQP, DFMEA, PFMEA, as well as PLM, ERP, and ISO standards is required. Knowledge of CMM, Blue light scanning, and I4.0 principles will be advantageous. Role & responsibilities Meticulous Planning of site Engineers' visits to customer places as per requirement, Effective Planning of Equipment/material to the sites/places as per requirement. Co-ordinating with customers to follow time lines in completion of work. Planning with internal departments like finance/stores for smooth movement of men and material. Preferred candidate profile Looking for Candidates with hands on experience preferably in a similar atmosphere in any service industry. Job Description: We are hiring a Senior Planning Engineer to lead and manage the planning, scheduling, and progress control functions on high-value projects across their lifecycle. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop integrated project schedules, ensure accurate progress tracking, and provide actionable insights to project leadership for decision-making.This is a strategic role suited for an experienced planner with deep exposure to Primavera P6 , EVM , and multidisciplinary project execution (civil, MEP, procurement, engineering, etc.). Key Responsibilities: Develop, maintain, and optimize baseline and detailed schedules using Primavera P6. Integrate engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) activities into a unified master schedule. Prepare look-ahead programs , resource histograms, S-curves, and key milestones. Monitor project progress against the baseline schedule and perform delay analysis and time impact assessments (TIA). Lead periodic planning reviews with project management and client stakeholders. Generate earned value reports , variance analysis, and forecasts. Track change orders and support claims preparation with schedule substantiation. Align with procurement and subcontracting teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and services. Mentor junior planners and ensure adherence to planning standards and procedures. Required Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in Civil. 8+ years of planning experience in EPC, construction, or infrastructure projects. Expert user of Primavera P6 and MS Excel; knowledge of TILOS, MS Project is a plus. Solid understanding of project controls principles , critical path method (CPM), and WBS structuring. Hands-on experience with earned value management (EVM) , risk-adjusted scheduling, and forensic delay analysis. Strong reporting skills and ability to present to internal and external stakeholders. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
