Job Overview:

The English Faculty member will be responsible for teaching English, focusing on literature, writing, and communication. The instructor will foster critical thinking, reading comprehension, and writing proficiency among students. The ideal candidate will have a passion for literature, excellent teaching skills, and a commitment to academic excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Teaching and Instruction:

• Teach a range of undergraduate courses in English, including but not limited to Composition, Literature (American, British, World), Creative Writing, and Technical Writing.
  
• Develop and implement lesson plans, course materials, and assessments aligned with the curriculum.
  
• Create a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment that encourages student participation and critical thinking.
  
• Provide timely feedback on assignments, exams, and projects.

Administrative Responsibilities:

• Complete grading, attendance tracking, and other administrative duties as required.
  
• Participate in college committees and community-building activities.
  
• Adhere to college policies and guidelines related to faculty responsibilities and professional conduct.
