The main responsibilities of this role include: - Coordinating with the Procurement team for the submission of TDS of BOQ items to customers/consultants and obtaining approvals. - Providing guidance to the Draftsman for the preparation of drawings in 2D/3D according to site requirements, submitting them to customers, and obtaining approvals. - Collaborating with the Site Engineer/Draftsman to determine the actual quantity requirements of BOQ items through drawings/site visits. - Carrying out design work for projects and sharing the information with the execution team to ensure engineering progress. - Conducting equipment selection and exploring deviations from tender conditions to achieve additional savings through value engineering. - Maintaining constant communication with clients for input drawings, clearances, and approvals. - Holding periodic meetings with clients/consultants to address issues, establish rapport, ensure customer satisfaction, and strive to improve the CSI Score. - Addressing MEP space coordination and implementing MEP design coordination & MEP services integration if it is part of the scope. - Developing and maintaining relationships with major Project Management Consultants (PMC), consultants, and customers by highlighting engineering as a differentiator.
