Engineering Manager

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Engineering Manager to lead our dynamic development teams and drive the successful execution of complex projects. This senior leadership role requires a blend of technical expertise, project management acumen, and team leadership skills. You will play a key role in architecting solutions, mentoring engineers, and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality software products. Key Responsibilities : - Lead and manage cross-functional development teams working with PHP, Node.js, ReactJS, and Next.js - Own the end-to-end project lifecycle: from requirements gathering and planning to execution, deployment, and post-release support - Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, and other stakeholders to define project scope and delivery timelines - Coordinate and communicate with internal teams, external partners, and stakeholders. - Monitor development progress and resolve blockers proactively. - Ensure best practices in software development including code reviews, testing, and CI/CD - Provide technical guidance and support to team members, helping them grow in their careers - Manage team performance, set goals, conduct regular one-on-ones reviews and feedback sessions - Provide regular status updates and project reports to stakeholders. - Ensure projects align with business objectives and stakeholder expectations. - Oversee and optimize agile development processes and tools - Identify risks and bottlenecks in projects and proactively find solutions Requirements : - 8+ years of experience in software development with at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial role - Strong hands-on experience with PHP, Node.js, ReactJS, and Next.js - Proven experience managing software development projects using Agile/Scrum methodologies - Experience delivering scalable, cloud-based SaaS products - Solid understanding of modern web development practices, performance optimization, and scalable architecture - Familiarity with cloud services like AWS, GCP, or Azure - Experience with DevOps practices and tools (CI/CD, Docker, etc.) - PMP or other project management certifications are a plus - Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills - Experience working with cross-functional and distributed teams - Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive attitude
