About the Role:

Engineering Lead

You will not only manage and mentor high-performing engineering teams but also contribute hands-on where needed to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of solutions.

What We're Looking For:

• Education:

  B.Tech/M.Tech from

  IIT or NIT only

  (mandatory)

• Work Experience:

• 10–15 years in software engineering
  
• Minimum 3+ years in engineering leadership roles
  
• Prior experience

  only in startups or product-based companies

• Technical Strengths:

• Proven track record in building scalable

  microservices

  and

  distributed systems

• Strong backend development expertise in

  Java, Golang, Python, or TypeScript

• Deep understanding of

  cloud-native architecture

  (AWS/GCP),

  Kafka

  , and

  data infrastructure

• Exposure to AI/ML systems, performance optimization, and privacy-first architecture is a strong plus
  

• Leadership & Collaboration:

• Managed engineering teams of 10–30 (including EMs, Staff, and Senior Engineers)
  
• Strong mentorship, code review, and process-building skills
  
• Collaborative mindset with cross-functional teams (Product, Design, GTM)
  

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive system architecture and backend development for AI, data, and platform infrastructure
  
• Lead and mentor a distributed engineering team, fostering a high-performance culture
  
• Collaborate closely with founders and stakeholders to align tech strategy with business goals
  
• Own delivery of systems related to scalability, privacy, reliability, and AI pipelines
  
• Ensure engineering excellence via robust CI/CD, testing, observability, and documentation practices
  
• Set up scalable processes such as design reviews, PRDs, and sprint planning
  
• Actively unblock teams with hands-on contributions and architectural guidance
