We are currently seeking a Psychiatric Social Worker to join our team at Alpha Healing Center. The ideal candidate should have an MPhil in Psychiatric Social Work and a minimum of 3+ years of experience. Fluent English and strong communication skills are essential for this role. The position is based in Jambughoda, Gujarat, located 70kms from Vadodara. As a Psychiatric Social Worker at Alpha Healing Center, your main responsibilities will include enhancing the patient experience, ensuring post-discharge treatment compliance, and strengthening communication with the patient's family. You will be the primary point of contact for family members, addressing their concerns during the patient's stay and coordinating with the clinical and administrative teams accordingly. On a daily basis, you will conduct check-ins with patients, liaise with the clinical and non-clinical teams to address any concerns, and ensure compliance to treatment sessions. You will also be responsible for crisis intervention 24/7, with the support of the Resident Psychiatrist or Consultant Psychiatrist. In addition, you will facilitate group psychotherapy sessions, conduct individual therapy sessions, and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic clinical care. You will also support the admission process, explain the clinical program to patients and their families, and assist with follow-ups and post-discharge check-ins.
