This individual contributor role involves architecting and leading testing strategies for the Nokia product line. The ideal candidate will demonstrate technical leadership, sharp analytical skills, and a track record of designing and executing scalable, high-quality test and automation solutions for modern microservices-based environments. You have: A Bachelor's/Master's degree in Engineering or Equivalent and brings over 18 years of experience in software testing, including 12+ years in telecom networks, with a strong background in test architecture for cloud-native, microservices-based systems. Proficient in automation using Python, Go, Java, and C++, with hands-on expertise in Linux environments, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Envoy, CI/CD, and DevOps tools. Skilled in designing and executing tests for highly scalable, reliable, and resilient systems, with strong debugging, database testing, and observability domain knowledge. Demonstrated leadership in cross-functional teams, delivering under tight deadlines in agile environments, with strong analytical thinking and effective stakeholder communication. It would be nice if you also had: Prior experience in NMS/EMS testing & Familiarity with testing in the interoperability and observability domains, including database testing, gRPC services, and open-source integrations. Design and lead product-level testing strategies aligned with both technical requirements and business goals. Define software compatibility standards across Nokia product lines and ensure they are consistently implemented. Architect test systems and automation frameworks for microservices-based, cloud-native deployments, focusing on efficiency and scalability. Translate complex customer and system requirements into detailed, actionable test designs and test plans. Oversee the integration of software subsystems and lead full-system validation to ensure robust end-to-end functionality. Proactively identify and resolve testing gaps, support issues, and performance bottlenecks across the QA pipeline. Collaborate closely with customers, product managers, and development teams to align testing objectives with broader product strategies. The ideal candidate will have deep domain knowledge in Optical Transport (DWDM/OTN), Ethernet technologies, and IP networking, and will be responsible for ensuring robust, scalable, and high-performance NMS/EMS platforms. What will you do- Key Accountabilities Evaluate and Type Approve the NMS/EMS application based on Colt’s production requirements. Design and execute comprehensive test plans for NMS/EMS platforms across Optical, Ethernet, and IP domains. Validate FCAPS (Fault, Configuration, Accounting, Performance, Security) functionalities. Perform integration testing with network elements and simulate real-world network scenarios. Automate test cases using scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) and tools like Selenium or Robot Framework. Collaborate with development, Engineering, PLM, and Vendor support teams to track bugs, prioritize fixes, and ensure timely releases. Analyze logs, SNMP traps, and CLI outputs to troubleshoot and verify system behavior. What we are looking for- Skills & Experience Hands-on experience with NMS/EMS platforms and network element simulators. Strong understanding of Optical technologies (DWDM, OTN), Ethernet protocols, and IP routing (OSPF, BGP, MPLS). Proficiency in SNMP, CLI, Netconf, and REST APIs. Experience with test automation and scripting (Python preferred). Familiarity with network management standards and tools. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Role & responsibilities SPOC for the Supplier Quality Sustenance for the assigned Suppliers or commodity(Electricals, Electronics, EMS etc). Prevention strategies & CAPA for improving supplier SPR (Straight Pass Ratio) and ensuring defect free supplies to Ather Verify Quality, Systems and Process (Electricals, Electronics, EMS etc) in accordance with IATF 16949, ESD 20.20 & IPC requirements at Supplier end on periodic basis. Conduct periodic product audit, Process audit & Layered process audit for all Supplierparts. Work with the SQA & ME to implement preventive process controls to embed Qualityfrom Development to Launch at supplier end. Collaborating with both Suppliers and Ather for the closure especially supplier internalrejections, Tier 2 bugs and bugs reported at Ather.
