Ltd. is seeking a visionary and highly experienced Vice President MEP to lead and oversee all Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Firefighting (MEP) functions across its prestigious residential and commercial high-rise projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering complex, large-scale high-rise projects with a focus on safety, sustainability, quality, and innovation. Key Responsibilities: Provide strategic leadership and technical oversight for all MEP-related activities across multiple high-rise residential and commercial projects. Drive project planning, budgeting, scheduling, execution, and quality control for Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Firefighting, BMS, and ELV systems. Collaborate closely with Design, PMC, Execution, Procurement, and QA/QC teams to ensure integrated project delivery. Review and validate MEP designs, shop drawings, BOQs, and technical submittals from consultants and contractors. Ensure compliance with local regulations, NBC norms, IS codes, and applicable international MEP standards. Monitor and optimize performance of MEP contractors and vendors to ensure adherence to timelines, cost targets, and quality benchmarks. Supervise and mentor a cross-functional team of engineers, managers, and on-site execution staff. Spearhead innovation in sustainability, energy efficiency, automation, and digital coordination tools (like BIM, Revit, Navisworks). Lead technical audits, troubleshooting, and risk mitigation plans during design and execution stages. Provide executive-level reporting to senior leadership on project progress, risks, and performance metrics. Candidate Profile: Experience: Minimum 20 years of relevant experience in MEP execution and management, with a strong portfolio of residential high-rise projects (including Mivan technology-based construction). Industry Exposure: Must have handled MEP across the full lifecycle of multiple luxury high-rise residential towers (40+ floors). Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams, drive coordination between stakeholders, and resolve complex technical challenges. Technical Proficiency: Deep understanding of HVAC, electrical distribution, plumbing systems, fire safety, STP/WTP, BMS, and ELV systems. Tools: Familiar with AutoCAD, MS Project, BIM coordination tools (Navisworks/Revit MEP), and Microsoft Office Suite. Communication: Strong written and verbal communication, documentation, and stakeholder engagement skills. Role & responsibilities 1)Expertise in using BIM authoring tools, Revit and Revit content creation and Parametric families. 2) Strong Adherence to BIM Standards. 3) Creating and maintaining 3D models using BIM software, collaborating with architects, engineers, and other members of the design team, ensuring the models are accurate and meet project requirements, and using the models to identify and resolve conflicts or issues during the design phase. 4) Review of Comments from Client/s and incorporating the changes or corrections into design in coordination with the Project Managers. 5) Ability to Troubleshoot problems involving BIM and Autodesk Revit, Navisworks 6) Design Knowledge on ELV Systems vide., Structured Cabling System, CCTV and Access Control Systems, GRMS, Audio Visual systems preferable

Works under general supervision. Provides training and technical support to design staff on the Building Information Modeling system, which provides 3D models using project specifications and content. Direct project support and production to assigned projects and create the drawings as required using the standards and content to meet the job requirements (objects within the drawing, doors, lights, etc.). Demonstrates proficiency in both electrical and ELV (Extra Low Voltage) systems design. Utilizes Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks software to create and modify 3D models and 2D drawings. Performs complex BIM or Plant Data Centric assignments involving the use of multiple application platforms, such as Revit, Intergraph SmartPlant, Plant 3D, etc. software, to achieve set results and deadlines. Collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of electrical and ELV systems within the overall building design. Conducts clash detection and resolution using BIM tools to identify and resolve conflicts between different building systems. Develops and maintains project-specific content libraries and families within Revit for electrical and ELV components. Participates in project meetings to discuss design progress, challenges, and solutions with clients and team members. Ensures compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations in electrical and ELV system designs. Prepares detailed documentation, including specifications and bill of materials, for electrical and ELV systems. To complete the assignment within budgeted manhours / cost with margin. Ensure that the design and drawings are prepared in accordance with the contract drawings, specifications and other contract documents. Co-ordinate the Mechanical services with the building layouts and other services. Ensure that the drawings are prepared within the productivity norms. Key Responsibilites - Ensure the accuracy and technical correctness of the design and co-ordination of the working drawings produced. Prepare the working drawings in accordance with the project and company standards and specifications. Co-ordinate the Air Conditioning drawings with the civil and architectural layouts. Co-ordinate the Air Conditioning services with the electrical, plumbing and fire fighting services, including preparation multiservice details. Resolution of technical difficulties with the site team / main contractor as directed by the Project Manager. Proactive coordination with civil contractor / subcontractors for effective execution of works ensure that the quality of the work is in full compliance to the contract specification, project quality plan and is completed of time. Obtain drawing approval from the professional team. Maintaining ISO documentation, Record Keeping, Suppliers/Manufacturers Data Bank records. Delegating Draftsmen for quantity take offs, cross checking quantities. Issue the approved drawings to site. Maintain the working drawing register (Drawing Log) for the air conditioning drawings. Monitoring productivity and compiling relevant information on production rates. Participate in preparation and implement quality assurance plans. Preparation of record drawings. Identification of additional works and advice the Project Manager to enable formal instructions to be obtained. Key Skills - Detailed engineering knowledge in the design and engineering of Air Conditioning systems for commercial and light industrial buildings in the GCC. The services would include both ductwork and pipe work for the following Systems: o Water and air-cooled chiller plant. o Constant volume air handling plant. o Variable air volume air handling systems o Fan coil systems o Package and split systems o Supply and extract ventilation. o Smoke control systems. Understanding of the method of construction of buildings. Ability to communicate fluently in English - both orally and in writing Developed computer skills, particularly in spreadsheets and databases. Detailed design ability to undertake ductwork and pipe work sizing, pump pressure and fan pressure calculations etc. Detailed knowledge of International, Dubai and Abu Dhabi codes of practice, regulations, and specifications for the construction industry with particular knowledge of the Municipal and Civil Defence requirements. Familiar with Plumbing / Fire Fighting as well as Electrical & ELV systems. Ability to read, understand, visualise and interpret drawings and specifications. Identify training needs of the project team members reporting him and arrange for suitable training for them, in consultation with P.M for furtherance of their professional skills and competence An active personality, able to interact freely with his peers Educations - Graduate in Mechanical engineering (B.E. / B.Tech) / Diploma in Mech engineering along with: Approved training in HVAC & related field Proficient in use of engineering calculations such as HAP Knowledge of BIM softwares such as Revit & Navisworks would be an advantage. Experience - 5 years engineering experience with at least 2 years for a Graduate Engineer OR 10 years engineering experience with at least 4 years for Diploma Engineer in the preparation of air-conditioning construction drawings. Minimum 2 years of experience in Site experience in installation / execution (Preferably in GCC countries) Knowledge of Electrical & Plumbing / Fire Fighting systems would be an advantage Hands on experience in Revit / Navisworks would be an advantage Detailed knowledge in the design and engineering of Plumbing / Fire Fighting systems for commercial and light industrial buildings in the GCC.
