Electrician Technician – Maintenance (Aluminium Extrusion Preferred)

Location:

Sarua, Khordha, Bhubaneswar, Odisha

Salary:

₹25,000 – ₹30,000 per month (based on experience)

Experience Required:

4 to 6 Years(Candidates with Aluminium Extrusion Plant experience will be strongly preferred)

Job Type:

Full-Time | On-site | Shift Basis

Job Responsibilities:

· Handle all electrical maintenance activities in the aluminium extrusion unit including press machines, billet heaters, pullers, stretchers, cooling beds, ageing oven, cooling tower, motors, Foundry, compressors, 33KV Transformer, DG Sets, etc.

· Troubleshoot electrical faults and carry out both preventive and breakdown maintenance of motors, control panels, PLCs, and automation systems.

· Maintain daily electrical maintenance logs and ensure all machines operate safely and efficiently.

· Coordinate with production and mechanical maintenance teams for smooth functioning of the plant.

· Assist in installation and commissioning of new machines and upgrades.

· Ensure adherence to industrial safety norms and standards.

Key Skills Required:

· Mandatory hands-on experience in aluminium extrusion plant machinery.

· Knowledge of industrial electrical circuits, VFDs, contactors, relays, limit switches, and PLC-based systems.

· Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams.

· Proactive in fault identification and corrective action.

· Familiarity with power distribution and electrical safety practices.

Qualifications:

· ITI / Diploma / B-tech in Electrical Engineering (with license preferred)
